Liz at the Paradise - Boston, MA.

WOW.

that is all I have to say about the acoustic tour...WOW. Tonight was the first night at the Paradise in Boston and it was amazing. Best Liz show I've ever been to. I took a video of her doing "Wild Thing"...amazing. She wanted to play Jeremy Engle, but for some reason everyone wanted Wild Thing instead. I'll take Wild Thing, but I would have LOVED to see her play Jeremy Engle for the first time. She played a bunch of old stuff...she's taking request from the crowd, and she's playing a "challenge" every night and her challenge this night was Soap Star Joe. It was awesome, I wonder what her challenge will be tomorrow night?

Was there anyone else there tonight?

I'll definitely post pictures, and yeah I'll link something to the video soon. It just takes me a little time, I'll try to do it tomorrow.

I don't have the exact set list...but I know she played "Polyester Bride" first and "Fuck and Run" last. Aside from Soap Star Joe and Wild Thing, she also played 3 new songs: "Somebody's Miracle", "Lost Tonight" and "Everything to Me". Thens he played one other new song that won't be on the album...and of course I can't remember for the life of me the name of it...but it will probably come to me in my sleep. Oh well...
She played her usual "Supernova", "Why Can't I", "Rock Me", "Extraordinary", "Divorce Song", "6'1", "Stratford on Guy", OH and another good one she played was "GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS". Hmmm what else? oh yeah, "Good Love Never Dies". If there's more I can remember I will add it!

I'm so sorry you didn't get to hear "Jeremy Engle" live. That is one of my absolutely favorite songs and am going to shout for it at one of the shows this tour. I can't wait to hear it.

record Jeremy Engle if she plays it at one of your shows!! I am dying to hear it live, it's one of my absolute favs as well! I just wish I could have seen it in person! :(
